Do I belong to you?
Fall colors plus Sanctus Real's "Dear Heart" can only mean one thing - treasury inspiration! While browsing the CAST team's offerings, we discovered these beautiful items in rich shades of rust, orange, red, and brown. All that is left to make the perfect fall experience to add is a cup of hot apple cider and maybe a fresh scone (or two).

Thinking of you...
From our custom work over the summer...
Crisp white and natural kraft brown cards make our hand-stamped card sets both versatile and classy. Stamped butterflies, dots, and flowers in a variety of styles keep our designs looking playful and unique, while simple greetings lend themselves to several occasions. The color palettes vary from subdued navy blue and tan to bright green and berry and from rich plum and chocolate brown to retro-inspired soft yellow, moss green, and aqua.

Shine on me...
Fall is here, and so are fantastic autumn-hued pieces
from our CAST team mates. Today’s theme is shadow and sunshine, inspired by the
lyrics of the song “The Shadow Proves the Sunshine” by Switchfoot. (And yes,
"Sunshine and Shadow" is also one of our favorite quilt patterns.)
Sunshine, won't you be my mother
'The Shadow Proves The Sunshine' by HandiworkinGirls
Sunshine, won't you be my mother
Sunshine, come and help me sing
My heart is darker than these oceans
My heart is frozen underneath
We are crooked souls trying to stay up straight,
Dry eyes in the pouring rain
The shadow proves the sunshine
Oh Lord, why did you forsake me?
Oh Lord, don't be far away
Storm clouds gathering beside me
Please Lord, don't look the other way
Shine on me,
Let my shadows prove the sunshine

Don't look around...
Time to take the plunge back into treasury making. Our summer's break became an early fall break as well, but that is probably a good thing. We are now back with a file full of ideas. For starters, we are using Francesca Battistelli's single from this spring, "Strangely Dim," as our treasury inspiration. Pretty robin's-egg blue, olive green, and silver fit together beautifully with the lyrics of one of our favorite songs of 2013.
I've had all these plans piled up sky high
'Strangely Dim' by HandiworkinGirls
I've had all these plans piled up sky high
A thousand dreams on hold
And I don't know why,
I Got a front row seat
To the longest wait
And I just can't see
Past the things I pray
Today
But when I fix my eyes on all that You are
Then every doubt I feel
Deep in my heart
Grows strangely dim
All my worries fade
And fall to the ground
Cuz when I seek Your face
And don't look around
Any place I'm in
Grows strangely dim
