Summer finds in the CAST team inspired yesterday's treasury. With shades of bold yellow, pretty purple, coral-pink, and warm aqua, Nicole C. Mullen's song  "Butterfly" seemed most appropriate. Lilac-lined ACU Gift Bags

Time for a peek back into our custom-orders from this spring. We had the privilege of creating camouflage gift bags for a birthday party, and create we did. Today we would like to show you the first quarter of our work for this Army-themed birthday bash: the lilac purple-lined gift bags. Soft cotton flannel was our lining material of choice which, together with our favorite ACU twill, made for a pleasing combination of textures sturdy and snuggly. We mixed two styles of purple buttons - flowers and metallic-edged - along with dainty white flower buttons to add a girlish flair to the otherwise neutral camo exterior. The resulting bags were playful, pretty, and durable - exactly what is needed for a child's party favor.

Time for a burst of purples! They fit elegantly into the spring-turning-into-summer category, and we cannot showcase these delicious shades of one of our favorite colors often enough. The inspiring lyrics for yesterday's treasury come from Building 429's latest album and its title track - Listen to the Sound.

Spring spirals...

Our very latest custom creation - a circular t-shirt rug - consists of a multitude of bright shades spinning into an almost perfect spiral. The mixture of blue, purple, pink, green, black, gray, and white turns a simple floorcovering into an eye-covering accent for your kitchen or living room. The thickness of the t-shirts gives your toes a welcome respite from the cold, hard floor! And with the aid of a front-loading washer, the rug also helps reduce the accumulation of indoor allergens - always a plus for those of us with sensitive noses.

 Rainbow brights from the CAST team pair perfectly with Chris August's song "You and I" in our latest treasury. With adorable baby clothes, retro headbands, and boldly colored jewelry, there are plenty of pieces for your perusing pleasure.
